Alina Smyrnova

Alina Smyrnova – psychologist, psychotherapist and trainer in MARI

Water is fluid, soft, and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield (Lao Tse)

Water symbolises gentleness, flexibility and acceptance – key qualities in psychological practice. My work is like water, which seems soft, but can change the hardest stones and difficulties.

I graduated the Karazin Kharkiv National University.

In my work, I use various areas of psychology and psychotherapy: cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), MARI, Kids Skills, art therapy, short-term family therapy, body-oriented therapy, clay therapy, and Sand Play.

As we change, so does the world, therefore I am constantly learning new things. In addition to psychology, I paint, play chess, and enjoy everything that enriches me. As a mother of three, I discover the peculiarities of three age categories every day, which not only adds to my personal experience but also broadens my view of developmental psychology.
