Webinar Safe start: how to get a child with special educational needs ready for the school year

21 August at 18:00

For parents, caregivers, teachers, assistants and anyone working with children with SEN.

The start of the school year isn’t just “September” but stress and new challenges. For children with special educational needs, adaptation can be more difficult and therefore requires extra care, preparation, and a sensitive approach.

This webinar is your space for support, knowledge, and confidence.

At the meeting, we will discuss:

🔹 how to help a child enter the group safely;
🔹 when and how for teachers and specialists to establish contact with the child;
🔹what undesirable and self-stimulating behavior is – and what it “says”.

After the meeting, you will:

✅ be able to read the child’s behavior more accurately, noticing not only reactions but causes;
✅ prepare specific steps to create a predictable and safe environment for the child;
✅ better understand the signs that something is wrong and that you need to change your approach;
✅ feel confident that you are not alone in facing the challenges of adaptation.

Host: Anastasia Shvets, music therapist, corrective music teacher, co-author of psychological support programmes.
