Practical meeting Switching Places
29 April at 16:00 Has your child ever told you about classmates with “weird” behaviour? “Ill-mannered” ones who “can’t control themselves”? Perhaps you have noticed such behaviours in teens you know? Challenging behaviour can have many causes, including atypical functioning of the nervous system.
In this case, we are talking about people with neurodiversity.
29 April 2025, at 16.00
We invite teenagers aged 10-14 to a practical meeting Switching Places, where participants will be able to better understand others by trying on different forms of behaviour and response.
📍Necessary materials: 🔹a hat, 🔹a scarf, 🔹sunglasses, 🔹gloves, 🔹paper and drawing materials, 🔹good mood 🙂

Host: Anastasia Shvets, music therapist, correctional music teacher, specialist of the CPH “Confidence”.
By attending the event, teenagers will
acquire valuable knowledge and skills that will contribute to their personal development and interaction with others;
develop empathy through practical experience of being “in someone else’s shoes”;
learn to recognise neurodiversity and its manifestations in human behaviour;
master methods of effective communication with peers who have nervous system disorders.
In addition, the workshop participants will acquire tools to overcome “strange behaviour” stereotypes, improve their self-regulation and emotional intelligence skills, and develop tolerance towards diversity.
The event is part of the UNICEF project “Hugs For You” with financial support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
