Webinar Coping with psychological trauma, working with families in wartime, the therapist’s role
25 September at 18:00 Give yourself and your families the tools they need for support and recovery!
We invite psychologists, specialists and anyone interested to attend the webinar Coping with psychological trauma, working with families in wartime, the therapist’s role
📌 About the webinar:
War changes families forever. Often, different traumas gather under one roof, interacting and affecting all family members.
Just imagine a family with:
• a mother with anxiety disorder following evacuation;
• a 7-year-old son with regressive reactions;
• a 13-year-old daughter with an eating disorder;
• a father with PTSD after military service.
Webinar questions:
• How to work with such a family?
• Where to start and how not to harm?
• Is it possible to treat all of them simultaneously?
• What mistakes can nullify the psychologist’s efforts?
📚 Webinar programme:
1. Psychological trauma in children and adults: mechanisms of formation and manifestations.
2. Trauma in the family as a system, rather than separate stories.
3. Signs of PTSD, anxiety disorders, regression, and eating disorders in children and adolescents.
4. Sequence of assistance: where to start, how to work with several “pain points” at the same time.
5. Effective therapy for military families (EMDR, Brainspotting, TF-CBT, and others).
6. Recovery strategy for the whole family.
