I want to express my gratitude to Confidence centre’s psychologist Taras Boichuk for saving me and helping me recover. I bow low to you for your hard work. I was caught in shelling and diagnosed with PTSD, irritable bowel syndrome, and tachycardia. I lost sleep for more than a week. I had panic attacks almost around the clock. I was unable to stay in my bed and would lie on the floor in the hallway. When darkness fell, my heart would race, reaching 114. I noticed changes already after the first meeting: the sound of flying missiles in my head seemed to be muffled. The explosions didn’t seem as scary as before. My feelings of anxiety and helplessness reduced. I was taught breathing techniques to control my anxiety on my own.
It was very difficult and painful to go through therapy. But I saw results. Now I sleep in my own bed. The anxiety and tachycardia are gone. My bodily functions have returned to normal. I can’t imagine what I would have done without help! THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIMELY SUPPORT AND TREATMENT!
