About consultations

Who provides consultations?

Certified psychologists and psychotherapists with 5+ years of experience. The team works with CBT, Gestalt, EMDR, and systemic family therapy. We also have a neuropsychologist and a child psychologist.

Online or offline — how does it work?

Online sessions happen in Google Meet from a confidential environment. Offline meetings are held in partner offices in Kharkiv and Sumy regions and in Poltava.

How long is a consultation?

Adult sessions last 50 minutes, child sessions 40 minutes, and family sessions up to 75 minutes. Frequency is agreed with your specialist.

Is it confidential?

Yes. All specialists sign a confidentiality agreement. Information is not shared with third parties except in cases of threat to life.

How many sessions can I receive?

Each project offers a specific number of consultations, depending on the terms of the individual program.

About projects

Which projects are active now?

There are currently four active projects: “Hugs for You” (UNICEF), “Resilient Together”, “Family for Every Child”, and “Right to Know”. Details are available in the Projects section.

Are all projects free?

Yes, participation in all project activities is free of charge.

How do I know which project is right for me?

Review the project descriptions or contact the coordinator through the website form. We will help you choose the best format for your situation.

About events

How do I register for an event?

Click “Register” on the event page, and we’ll send you all the information you need.

What happens after registration?

You will receive an email confirmation. The day before the event, we will send a reminder with the link or address. If anything changes, we will let you know.

Can I watch a recording?

Recordings of some open lectures and webinars are available in the YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@confidencecph. Some group events are not recorded to protect participant confidentiality.

Where can I find resources for parents?

You can find all the information you need in the “Helpful Resources” section.

How do I get the “Hug Yourself” handbook?

Fill out the form on the handbook page, and we will send the PDF to your email within an hour.

Are there materials for parents of children with special educational needs?

Yes. In the “Educational Pathways” section, you’ll find step-by-step guides to help you understand the options available for inclusive and special education.

Who can take the training?

Psychologists, educators, social workers, and IRC specialists.

Is the training free?

Yes, it is fully free within partner programs.

Are ECTS credits counted?

Yes. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate indicating the relevant credits.
