My participation and results of taking the course “Working with children with SEN” exceeded my expectations. I thought that this would be another course where they talk about how the follow-up team plans its work and the differences between the areas of work of different specialists. However, I received practical algorithms and tips for working directly with children. For me, the most important thing was to learn how to establish contact with children with autism, practise some situations, watch videos of work with children, discuss and comment on important points with the course leaders, and analyse the work.

I had been looking for a course like this for a long time, but couldn’t find it… It was very useful to get answers to questions I had been asking myself for many years!!! I liked the consultations. I had a problem, namely panic attacks and flashbacks, which were interfering with my life. They were resolved by finding the right algorithm, which I now use in my everyday life.

I just completed the course “Body. Stabilisation. Resource”. Natalia and Iryna created an incredibly beautiful space with a very warm, inspiring and wonderful atmosphere. I have the best impressions of this course. These hours were like a spot of peace and relaxation in the whirlpool of life.
I completed the advanced training programme “Working with Children with Special Educational Needs” organised by the CPH Confidence with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and financial support from the United States Agency for International Development. My overall impression of the course is very good; it met my expectations. The programme combines a significant amount of theoretical material with practical work on various situations. The first three topics of the course were particularly relevant and useful for me: “Establishing contact with children with SEN”, “Features of undesirable behaviour in children with SEN: concepts, causes and consequences”, and “Sensory disorders and stims in children with SEN”. The presentations were clear and understandable, which facilitated effective learning. The training was delivered remotely, which was very convenient. Despite the format, the course was quite interactive. I gained new tools and techniques that I can apply in my work. Although I have not worked with children with special educational needs very often before, I now have a better understanding of their characteristics and ways to interact with them effectively. This training helped me deepen my understanding of the specifics of working with children with SEN and develop inclusive competence.
