Vacancy: Grant Manager
The NGO Centre of Psychological Help “Confidence” (CPH Confidence) announces a
competition for the position of Grant Manager. We are looking for a specialist who will help us
effectively implement humanitarian programmes and support the mental health of Ukrainians.
Requirements:
— University degree, preferably in social sciences, economics, management or related fields.
— 3+ years of experience as a grant manager, grant officer or in donor project management.
— Experience working with international donors and charitable or non-governmental social
organisations (NGOs).
— Knowledge of the full grant management cycle: from application to final report.
— Experience in drafting project applications, grant agreements, budgets and reports.
— Ability to analyse donor requirements and ensure compliance with donor policies and rules.
— Proficiency in financial and administrative grant monitoring tools.
— Attention to detail, ability to work with large amounts of information.
— Self-motivation, strong goal orientation and commitment to humanitarian principles.
— Motivation to work in the humanitarian aid sector and a desire to grow professionally in this
field.
— Adherence to ethical standards and zero tolerance for any form of violence and
discrimination.
— Fluency in Ukrainian; knowledge of English is an advantage.
Key responsibilities:
— Searching for and analysing grant opportunities, drafting applications and supporting the
application process.
— Coordinating grant agreement procedures and communicating with donors.
— Managing the reporting calendar and ensuring the timely preparation of interim and final
reports.
— Aligning project budgets with donor requirements, monitoring the use of grant funds in
cooperation with the finance department.
— Preparing and monitoring supporting documentation to verify expenditures.
— Providing guidance to the project team on grant rules, procedures and donor requirements.
— Ensuring compliance with donor policies and internal NGO rules on procurement, ethics,
child protection and safeguarding vulnerable groups.
— Setting up a system for storing grant documentation and keeping it up to date.
— Participating in monitoring meetings with donors and presenting project implementation
results.
— Developing recommendations for improving grant management processes.
