About the project

"Zupinka: I" is a project of comprehensive psychological support for residents of Poltava and Sumy regions who suffered from the consequences of the war. The initiative was implemented by the NGO "Confidence" with the support of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The project provided individual psychological assistance (consultations of psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists), psychoeducation, work of mobile psychological teams, long-term support of families, as well as training and support of specialists who work with people.

The goal of the project is to provide complex psychological support to people in war conditions, to strengthen their psycho-emotional stability, to form self-regulation skills and to ensure access to help even in remote communities.

Individual beneficiaries have become specialists in helping professions (person-to-person sphere), families who have lost a breadwinner, children with special educational needs and their parents, guardians or guardians.
