Webinar: Attention, attention! Developing attention!
Biographical researchers believe that Napoleon Bonaparte could dictate seven important diplomatic documents to seven secretaries at the same time. And everyone probably knows about the abilities of Julius Caesar, who could deal with several unrelated matters at the same time. Is it true or fiction? How much can we concentrate on something? What does our attention depend on?
Let us discuss this at the webinar “Attention, attention! Developing attention!”.
We will find out:
– the peculiarities of attention as a mental process;
– characteristics of attentive and inattentive people;
– whether and how attention can and should be developed and trained.
We will learn how to:
– use games and exercises aimed at developing a child’s attention, reducing impulsivity and developing self-control;
– develop not only attention, but also memory, imagination and thinking;
– understand how we can help a child to concentrate
Host – Iryna Sitkariova, neuropsychologist, child and family psychotherapist.
