Day 1 of the marathon | “Parents of graduates: a year of great anxiety”

This is a year when everyone’s asking:
🔹 What’s next?
And almost no one’s asking:
🔹 How are you feeling?

The constant “pass or fail?”, the pressure around NMT and admission, confusion, fear of not living up to expectations, comparisons with others — all of this is exhausting not only for children, but also for the parents.
At the meeting we will talk about how to:
– reduce the tension surrounding learning and choices,
– talk about NMT without stress,
– avoid turning admission into a battlefield,
– maintain contact with your children when they themselves do not yet know what they want.

Host – Liudmyla Borysenko, psychologist, trauma therapist, family counsellor and university lecturer, specialist at the CPH “Confidence”.

Date: 25 August 2025
Time: 18.00

Participation is free!

After registration, we will send you a link to the meeting

We will answer questions about how to support your child while not losing yourself. This broadcast is about honesty, real-life cases, and a little bit of hope, which we all need so much. Come and join us so that you don’t just “survive” the graduation year, but go through it with dignity, humour, and calmness.

Webinar Safe start: how to get a child with special educational needs ready for the school year

For parents, caregivers, teachers, assistants and anyone working with children with SEN.

The start of the school year isn’t just “September” but stress and new challenges. For children with special educational needs, adaptation can be more difficult and therefore requires extra care, preparation, and a sensitive approach.

This webinar is your space for support, knowledge, and confidence.

At the meeting, we will discuss:

🔹 how to help a child enter the group safely;
🔹 when and how for teachers and specialists to establish contact with the child;
🔹what undesirable and self-stimulating behavior is – and what it “says”.

After the meeting, you will:

✅ be able to read the child’s behavior more accurately, noticing not only reactions but causes;
✅ prepare specific steps to create a predictable and safe environment for the child;
✅ better understand the signs that something is wrong and that you need to change your approach;
✅ feel confident that you are not alone in facing the challenges of adaptation.

Host: Anastasia Shvets, music therapist, corrective music teacher, co-author of psychological support programmes.

Webinar “About This”. What to say to kids when no one taught us

This webinar is for you if you are:

a parent of kids of any age who wants to build a trusting relationship with them;
a teacher, a psychologist or someone who works with children and wants to discuss important things without fear and taboos;
a person who understands that sex education is about safety, self-respect and ability to say “no”.

Why is this topic so important?

When we avoid topics such as the body, boundaries, relationships, and sexuality, children are left alone with their questions. And sometimes with other people’s questionable answers.

At this webinar, you will learn:
🔹 How to start the conversation at different ages
🔹 How to answer children’s “awkward” questions
🔹 How to teach children to respect their own bodies and recognise violence
🔹 What to talk about with children, at what age, and how to do so without traumatising them or passing on your own childhood fears
🔹 How to build a healthy attitude towards sexuality – without shame, but with an understanding of boundaries

🗣️ Format: live and judgment-free conversation.
We don’t lecture – we talk about real parenting, with its questions, fears, and desire to be a real support for your kid.

Host: Svitlana Poberezhnyk, child psychologist, psychotherapist, specialist in parent-child relationships, regional psychologist in family support, coach, author of educational programmes for parents and professionals.

📅 Date: 7 August 2025
🕕 Time: 18:00
